We got keys!

We were able to get the keys to our place today! We are schedule to get our loaner furniture on Friday and sign the paperwork on Monday. We got a 3rd floor 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment with a small storage unit in the basement. We have a good size living room which connects to the dinning room. The kitchen is small but with lots of storage. The apartment has a good amount of storage and has a washer/dryer. Here are a few pictures, it kinda hard to imagine with it being empty. On Friday when the loaner furniture comes I will upload more.

The base which we will be living on has lots things like the grocery store, thift store, library, theater, fitness center, dog park, post office and gas station. There is a good deal of things to do on base and it is all within walking distance. We are close to bus and train stop and walking distance to restaurants and a shopping center. 


I took Spanish in high school, so I only have learned a few phrases in German like good morning, thank you and good bye. I am looking into taking Germany conversion language classes probably in January, the USO offers 3 different levels. ​
