Mario, the dogs and I headed to Prague for a quick weekend. We have been there before but it has been about 4 years. With Covid still going strong in Europe, many countries have entry requirements for travelers . For Czech as long as you are vaccinated or have taken a test you can enter. You also need to complete the locator form. On our return to Germany, since Czech is classified as high risk, Germany requires an entry form, but as long as you are vaccinated you don’t have to quarantine. Prague is 5.5 hours from the house, so we figured we would drive. We left Saturday morning and didn’t hit much traffic, so we arrived right before check in. Czech requires a vignette, which can be purchased online or at a gas station near the border. We decided to order it online. Our hotel was located in Old Town which is about a 20 minutes walk to the astronomical clock. After checking in and unpacking we head to see some sites. It was a bit crowded so we didn’t stay out too long. Also we have been getting really strong winds the past couple days so it was windy and chilly. The next morning, we headed out early, so we could see the sites before the crowds woke up. We headed towards the Old Town Square. It was like a ghost town which was pretty nice. From there we headed towards to Charles Bridge. It was a little windy but we enjoyed the views. From there we headed back to the hotel. We did Hard Rock Cafe for lunch while the dogs rested in the room. We left the next morning, hitting some traffic. Another great trip in the books!
